Here is another very subtle but useful new feature of Studio One 2. When recording to a stereo track you can now select a mono input. Why is this useful? The most obvious application is when using a guitar amp plugin like Ampire XT. With this setup you can record your guitar with while monitoring with glorious stereo effects. In the past you needed to either monitor in mono while recording or put Ampire on an FX bus. This option simplifies the use of Ampire or pretty much any guitar amp simulator. Little tweaks like this that make your creative life easier are what Studio One is all about!
